Last night I went to an event – The Smithsonian American Art Museum’s annual benefit. It was in their new courtyard and was pretty cool. The highlights: this little dessert which I think was a banana cream in a hard chocolate with some coconut on it; the security guard let us walk through the closed gallery so we were the only ones there; a great date who felt the same about dancing that I did. The lowlights: the shrimp; it was after a final and my brain was really fried; not seeing any DC celebs. Good times.
I was surprised to learn that these were Rice Crispy treats. Why did they have faces and red hair?
Potato soup. I don’t know what look I was going for here, but I think I nailed it.
