We went again! This year was great. Instead of being incredibly cold, it was just a little too warm. Here are some photos and videos:
New deer scent? We just couldn’t figure that one out.
I caught this one firing. If you look closely, you can see the punkin in the air.
The whole event takes place in a corn field. Everyone parks on part of the field. When we returned to our car, it was covered in spiders. They had created a web over most of it. There had to be several dozen spiders crawling all over the car. And it wasn’t just our car – the people next to us were covered too. And our friends who didn’t park anywhere near us had spiders too. That field must have been crawling. None of us wanted to get into the car, so I got my snow brush from the trunk, and wiped the car down, killing spiders as I went.
On the way home, we ran into traffic:
So I took some pictures:
And now the videos!

What a perfect day for chunkin punkins. It was too rainy here so we had to cancel. I hope you snagged up that road kill for the crockpot and didn’t have nightmares from the spiders. You checked inside the car and your pant legs, right? Plus your sheets, right? I hope you’re not still thinking about them.
Can we make a rig next year and hold our own festival?! I’ll provide the pumpkins. Mom can provide the spiders.
Nobody has anything to say about the full beard? I didn’t even think I was on the right blog. I was about to call you and tell you Joni’s hanging with a bearded man who looks a little shady.
I cannot believe I missed Punkin Chunkin. I just resurrected my super awesome Punkin Chunkin 2007 drink holder thingy … I believe that was given courtesy of ING.
