I’ve heard people make New Years resolutions to blog more. I don’t get that.
Blogging takes time. And so I also don’t understand the people who have blog envy: oh, I wish I could be doing all the things that so-and-so is doing on their blog. Well… if they’re blogging, they aren’t doing anything exciting – they’re sitting at their computer just like you are.
I think what some people want is periods of excitement, and then some free time to let the world know what they’ve done.
I’ve just had some of the greatest times of my life and I was so busied with that that I had no time for blogging. I think the better resolution is to have no time for blogging.
And so, with the excitement mostly passed, I have a few moments to let the world know what I’ve been doing. In brief:
- Graduated from law school
- Moved across country
- Worked and studied for the bar exam
- Took the bar exam
- Got married
- Went on a cruise in the Caribbean
- Started a new job

I didn’t do any of that cool stuff and I still can’t find time to blog. What have I been doing?
I’m having so much fun that I really don’t have time to comment on your blog however I’m making time because you seem to have time now to read it.
